I am excited that my first crime novel, Islands of Deception, is nearing the completion of the editing process. After three years of writing and editing, the final manuscript will go to the publisher in early November. This will start the self-publishing journey for me. The book is scheduled for release Spring 2023.

The book incorporates my love of Michigan and its beautiful lakes, forests and remote islands. Many of the scenes take place on Beaver Island, Charlevoix and Lake Michigan. I also tapped my experience working in the corporate world for 35 years as well as my interest in politics. I think you’ll enjoy reading how all these elements come together to create a crime novel filled with suspense that will keep you guessing on who to trust.
