The sun settles into the horizon, closing out this day. The soothing rhythm of waves gently disperse against the sandy beach. A gentle breeze ruffles my hair. The clouds above begin to glow with fantastic hues of orange. This is what I love about northern Michigan and being close to such beautiful natural settings. It creates vast possibilities for the creative mind, wonderful settings to tell a story. It’s why my upcoming novel includes scenes from the beach towns of Lake Michigan to its remote islands.
