After three years of writing, editing and proofing, my new crime novel Islands of Deception is within weeks of being available in ebook and print version. Last week the cover and back cover design were completed and a print proof has been ordered for one last check. The proof will give me my first look at the book in its final print format.

From this point forward I will be focused on marketing the book. This week I started working with the publisher on promoting the book online as well as getting it set up for ordering by bookstores. The whole book distribution and marketing process is all new to me so I am learning as I go.
