At the Blue Lake Christian Writers Conference in Destin Florida last Friday, both of my books received Christian Indie Awards. Race for Redemption tied for first place and Islands of Deception tied for second place. It was humbling to have both of my books receive this recognition.

When I began my journey to publish my first book Islands of Deception in 2022, I had no idea what I was doing. I’m grateful for the family, friends, editors, and people at Ironstream Media and Brookstone for their encouragement. Writing and publishing a book is a team sport.

I’m also grateful for the many readers who purchased my books and encouraged me to write more books. Because of you I went on to write the sequel to Islands of Deception and I am nearly done with the first draft of my next book.
